Four Brainwave volunteers reach
a special milestone!

A group of dedicated volunteers in one of our Wiltshire Charity Shops celebrated a very special anniversary recently.

Julie Coward, Denise Gale, Ann Newbury and Shirley Thomas have volunteered at Brainwave's Charity Shop in Mere for 20 years, helping to raise thousands of pounds for the Charity.

To celebrate, earlier in February staff and volunteers at the Shop came together to enjoy coffee and cakes and also put on a special window display to mark the anniversary.

Su Jenkins -Human Resources and Health and Safety Manager at Brainwave- paid a surprise visit to the Shop, presenting the ladies with flowers and giving thanks for their tremendous dedication and hard work.

Back in 1999, volunteers from across all of our Charity Shops visited the South West Centre in Bridgwater for a special Open Day celebrating their achievements, with the event featuring in the Brainwave Newsletter at the time.
