Brainwave operates a Medical Advisory Group to advise and provide governance on medical and addociated topics to the staff and Trustees of the Charity.

Membership currently consists of a Trustee, senior members of the Brainwave therapy team and professionals from the NHS including a Consultant Physiotherapist, an Orthopaedic Assessment Services and Podiatry Surgery Manager.

We are now in the process of recruiting another health professional to join the group and are particularly interested in recruiting a doctor with paediatric experience who would be able to enhance the skills already in the group.  We would consider applications from professionals based anywhere in the UK.

The group operates in a virtual manner by providing support and advice to the therapy team on request and meets once a year to discuss policy and protocol.  Documentation is circulated amongst the group electronically.
