There was certainly a buzz in the air in Cheshire Thursday 17th November.  Beautifully dressed ladies took over Victors Restaurant in Hale, the prosecco corks popped and the 4th Fun Girls Fabulous Lunch was underway!

Following a ‘pink’ themed lunch, Sally Preston, Brainwave’s Family Facilitator, spoke about the charity's work and also movingly about her daughter's tremendous progress following a Brainwave Programme.

Sarah Nuttall, the current 2016 Mrs Galaxy and Brainwave Ambassador was amongst the guests and spoke of her pleasure to be supporting Brainwave.

The lights were then lowered as Malcolm Pitt AKA Lionel Richie ‘worked’ the room entertaining guests whilst the legendary ‘chocolate box raffle’ took place.

There was fashion from James Lakeland, jewellery by Charlotte Bird and each lady took home a Clogau Gold goody bag.

The ‘fun’ was definitely put into ‘fundraising’ and over £4,000 was raised to help families following a Brainwave Programme.

A sincere thank you to all those mentioned and especially to all the ladies who attended and gave so generously.

The ladies of Hale came together at Victors for the 4th Fun Girls Fabulous Lunch to raise money for Brainwave.  The afternoon was a great success and lots of funds were raised by everyone doing what they do best 'having fun.

This is my favourite event of the year.  Our Cheshire ladies know how to party and raise vital funds to enable local families to follow a Brainwave Programme.
