A gruelling 6 hour canoe leg finishing at 9.30pm was the end of a long day which had started at 5am at the foot of Snowdon…followed by a four and half hour bike ride to Llangollen…but the team survived without injury and exhilarated by their achievement. The picture attached shows Rob Arnold, Louise Roughley, Manusha Heesom, Alan Howard, Jonathan McKenna, Paul Richards and Jake Hiskett at the summit at 7am!

We also had the pleasure of meeting Charlie and his family prior to the canoe leg which helped spur us on and we have managed to reach the £3500 target which will hopefully help Charlie walk unaided in the next 12 months…we are grateful to all those who contributed.

A huge thank you also goes to our key sponsors who I would unashamedly recommend and endorse:-

Plas Colwyn www.plascolwyn.co.uk – luxury self catering accommodation for upto 20 people in Beddgelert.

Superior Sandwiches www.superiorsandwiches.co.uk – freshly made food delivered daily to your offices or corporate lunches in the North West area.

PSD – www.psdvehiclerental.co.uk – for you car & van hire needs in the North West.

The event involved a substantial amount of organisation, hard work, training and commitment from those involved but it was all worthwhile.
