Back by popular demand and with the chink of glasses the second Cocktail Challenge Event began at The Faenol Fawr Hotel in Bodelwyddon, St Asaph.

Once again top mixologist Johnny Cocktail shared his expert knowledge of all things cocktails.  Then it was over to the teams to battle it out in a series of cocktail shaking and making (and sampling!) with trophies awarded to the winners.

The competition didn’t end with the cocktails…….teams were challenged to balloon modelling and their knowledge tested with a drinks quiz.

Funds were raised from the popular chocolate box raffle and very generous auction prizes.  Amongst the lots, the Warren luxury holiday park in Abersoch, kindly donated by Karen Farrell, Crime Prevention Services.

Entertainment came from Mike Andrews in the form of a smooth Robbie Williams swing and current hit set and from Simon whose slight of hand magic impressed our guests.

Thank you to Kirsty Richards, North West Development Group Member and Jo Goddard, Just Imagine Interiors for their support and introducing many new supporters to Brainwave.

Thank you to all our supporters in North Wales for a sophisticated (mostly) night of fun and fundraising.  A wonderful total in excess of £4,500 was raised helping children follow a Brainwave programme.
