This summer, individuals, companies, and families from across the UK joined together to vote for Brainwave in the Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF) Community Awards.  Brainwave was up against 7 other Charities from Hertfordshire but with the help of our supporters, we successfully won a grant of £15,000!

The awards are part of Freemasonry’s 300th-anniversary celebrations, where the MCF are distributing £3 million to 300 charities across the country, and Brainwave is one of those selected. The grant will be used to support children and their families from Hertfordshire.

It costs Brainwave £3,500 per child, per year, to provide one year of life-changing therapy and support.  We ask families to contribute a small percentage towards this cost.  However, some of them may struggle to make any financial contribution and this can sometimes be a barrier to a family joining, or continuing with us.  To enable families to use our vital services, we will be creating a ‘Guardians of Hertfordshire Fund’, providing peace of mind to those that may not have otherwise been able to fund the therapy themselves.

We would like to sincerely thank all those who voted and share Brainwave for the MCF Awards, as without your support is would not have been possible!
