Brainwave seeks support from East of England Co-Op shoppers

We are asking local shoppers to help Brainwave secure funds from East of England Co-Op’s Community Token Scheme.

Shoppers in the Hatfield Peverel, Witham and Silver End Co-Op stores will be able to pop their green tokens in Brainwave’s token box to support our charity.

The token boxes will be in store for three months and the more tokens Brainwave gets, the bigger the share of the donation – up to £500!

Brainwave has three centres across the UK including a South East Centre in Witham.

Regional Fundraising Manager for the South East, Nicky Evans, said:

The money from this scheme will ensure our Brainwave therapists can help children with disabilities reach their potential.

This is a fantastic opportunity for locals to show their support for the charity by filling up Brainwave’s token boxes in the Hatfield Peverel, Witham and Silver End Co-Op stores. Fingers crossed we’ll be able to secure the full £500 available which would make a huge difference to our charity.

Brainwave helps children with a range of conditions including autism, cerebral palsy and Down syndrome. Our qualified Brainwave therapists devise a unique, personalised therapy programme tailored to suit each individual child’s needs. It costs over £3 million each year to run our three centres in Essex, Somerset and Cheshire and our two satellite clinics in London and Scotland. Brainwave does not receive any government funding therefore we rely on voluntary donations and schemes like this to run our service.
