On the 25 February 2015, Brainwave held an evening drinks reception at the House of Commons which was made possible by our host David Mowat MP.

We were very fortunate to have been joined by a variety of our supporters who were treated to drinks and canapés in the glorious surroundings of the Terrace Pavilion on the bank of the Thames.

We are very grateful to Ian Stewart, father to Olivia who attends our North West Centre, who shared his and his families’ experiences of Brainwave with all the guests and moved everyone by sharing some emotive family videos.

Malcolm Cooper-Smith from St. James’s Place Foundation, also gave a fabulous speech about why the Foundation has supported us since 1994.  To find out more about the Foundation, please click here.

We hope that everyone who joined us on this special evening had a wonderful time and went away empowered about the work of the Charity.

Phil Edge, Chief Executive said “We were delighted to welcome so many guests to the prestigious surroundings of the House of Commons. We are grateful to our speakers and our particular thanks must go to David Mowat MP, as without him we would not have been able to hold this event”.
