Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist & South East Centre Manager

Sri completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B.P.T) from Dr. MGR Medical University in India and qualified as a physiotherapist in 2005.  She went on to pursue a one year course (2005 – 2006) of Diploma in Basic Developmental Therapy from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, India.  This course provided intensive training on treating children with cerebral palsy and other neurological problems, using Bobath approach and sensory integration therapy concepts.  

She worked as a paediatric physiotherapist for 4 years at the Spastics Society of Tamil Nadu, a national charity organisation supporting children with special needs in India.

Sri came to the UK in 2011 to study for an MSc physiotherapy in which core modules were based on musculoskeletal and paediatric physiotherapy.  She joined Brainwave in June 2012 as a senior paediatric physiotherapist. After Joining Brainwave she underwent training in paediatric taping and attended special training at the Bobath centre, London to provide intervention for babies and young children.
