Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist

Sophie graduated from the University of Essex in 2012 with a degree in English Language, Child Language Acquisition and Language Disorders.  Following this, Sophie completed her post-graduate degree (MSc) in Speech and Language Therapy at the University of Essex in 2015.  Sophie has experience with paediatric and adult client groups in a variety of settings, from children with complex needs to adults with neurological conditions such as stroke and Parkinson’s disease.  Sophie has experience with working with children in mainstream and special needs schools, language units and clinic settings.

Sophie has knowledge and experience with Makaton signing and has recently undertaken training for ‘Speech Sound Disorders’ and ‘Picture Exchange Communication Systems: PECS’.
