Candiss Warder - North West Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist I graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2018 as a qualified physiotherapist. I was actively involved in extended roles with the university, contributing to a research project that explored internationalising student education in physiotherapy. Before starting university I worked as a Physiotherapy Assistant in a community paediatric physiotherapy department in the Midlands where I had the opportunity to learn from specialist physiotherapists and orthotists. I also volunteered at a summer holiday play scheme for children with disabilities every year. This is what inspired me to become a physiotherapist. I have always had a strong interest in paediatrics, therefore prior to starting full time at Brainwave, I will be working for a short time at Great Ormond Street Hospital. Alongside my degree I worked as a Therapy Assistant in a hospital in the North West, working with adults following Orthopaedic surgery.
