With Moz the Monster and the John Lewis advert hitting the TV screens last week…it can only be one time of year.

The big day is almost upon us and excitement is only going to ramp up between now and the big event, but we don’t have to wait much longer now.

That’s right, folks. Once again the fabulous Brainwave London Santa Dash is back for 2017 and is just around the corner!

For one night only, you are all invited to throw on your Santa suit and run 5k around the City of London, helping to raise money for Brainwave Children’s Charity, who offer therapy to children with disabilities to help them achieve greater independence.

It certainly is the most wonderful time of the year to be involved in Brainwave’s events, and we hope you can join us for this festive fun run on Tuesday 12th December, starting from Old Spitalfields Market from 5.15pm onwards.  Old Spitalfields Market have been a great supporter of the event and have donated their venue for the last 7 years.

For those of you that haven’t taken part in a previous Santa Dash (where have you been!?), it is the perfect way to unwind after a winter’s day at work.  This year’s event has been kindly sponsored by our good friends at Irwin Mitchell.  As well as being a great way to stay fit, the Santa Dash is always fantastic fun and a great night out.

You’ll be racing against the clock and each other whilst dressed in fabulous Santa Suits, that are provided for everyone taking part.  After setting off from Old Spitalfields Market, the route will take in some of the most iconic landmarks of London.  Hundreds of Santas racing around the Square Mile really is a sight to behold!

At the finish line, you will be greeted with a medal and a celebratory drink, courtesy of Mother Kelly’s, in Old Spitalfields Market’s brand new food and drink quarter.  You’ll also be invited to carry on the night and join our ‘after party’ on SOMA’s beautiful Scandinavian Terrace.

We look forward to welcoming familiar faces from previous years, and would love to welcome first time dashers too!  Anyone over the age of 18 can enter, in teams or as individuals.  There are no limits to how many Santas you can have in your team, but on the night you will run in groups of up to 10.

Tickets are £25 per person, which includes the full Santa suit (jacket, trousers, belt, hat and of course beard!), and you’ll also receive a medal, celebratory drink and a bottle of water.  Ticket sales will close two days before the event.

All we ask is that each participant raises additional funds to help us support over 600 families with children who have disabilities. Not forgetting that there are prizes on offer for the individual/team that raises the most money.

So, round up your friends, colleagues and family to join the City’s favourite fun run and be a part of something amazing this December 12th.

We look forward to seeing you all there!
