We are delighted to announce that Brainwave has been chosen as the President’s Charity of the Year 2012-2013 for the Association of Inner Wheel Clubs of Great Britain and Ireland.
The Inner Wheel is an International organisation for women which promotes friendship and encourages the ideals of personal service whilst helping those who are less fortunate. Great Britain and Ireland is made up of 29 Districts with some 23,000 members.
New President, Sheila Halliday-Pegg, chose Brainwave following a presentation made to her which she requested after seeing the BBC Lifeline appeal with Olly Murs last August.
We very much look forward to working with the Inner Wheel membership over the next twelve months in what we are sure will be a mutually beneficial partnership.

UPDATE – Fundraising activities are in full swing across the country from Inner Wheel Clubs and now they are having a direct impact on Brainwave. Every time someone speaks about the Charity, it is helping to raise the awareness of what we do, and with so many members this is a network we are so grateful to be able to tap into. A number of talks and visits have taken place and are scheduled for the first part of 2013 and Paul Smith will be in attendance at the National Conference at Plymouth in April and will have the chance to speak with many more members. We would like to continue to thank all Inner Wheel Members for their continued support.
