JustGiving

JustGiving is an online fundraising business designed to allow people to fundraise online, making it quick and easy for everyone to make donations and support your cause. With easy step by step instructions JustGiving allows you to set up your own fundraising page, personalise it and promote it through channels of social media such as your Facebook or Twitter account.

Creating an ‘In Memoriam’ page on JustGiving

This is not difficult to do. It will allow you to display a message about the person you are remembering and you can, if you wish, add a photograph. You can then tell friends and families about it and send them the link. It is a nice way for people who are unable to attend a funeral or memorial service to feel involved.

• Go to: http://www.justgiving.com/brainwave. Remember and follow the instructions. You will need to register if you haven’t already.
• After setting up the editorial, if you click at the top of the page ‘skip this step go to your control panel’, this will take you to a page where you can add in an automatic thank you for anyone who donates. The icon says ‘edit your thank you message’.
• If you would like to receive an email alert every time someone donates, click on ‘change your mail preferences’.
• You can decide on how long you want your page to exist by clicking on ‘extend your page’.
