The Eaton Estate Clay Shoot is to be held in the spectacular setting of His Grace the Duke of Westminster’s private estate in Cheshire and will be limited to 30 teams of 4 people. Whilst we welcome inexperienced team members we would like you please to have at least 2 experienced guns per team. In the event however that you are unable to muster two experienced guns but still wish to participate then there will be a small charge to cover the provision of an instructor (which is an insurance requirement) and guns. We will happily organise this on your behalf and if you have any queries please contact me directly at: caroleheadley@brainwave.org.uk
On arrival you will be provided breakfast followed by a safety briefing. You will then lead off in your respective team to participate in all the disciplines – we will have new and exciting challenges for you as well as the old favourites. Olympic and Commonwealth medal winner Charlotte Kerwood will be joining us again this year and will coach a lucky team throughout the day.
Prizes will be awarded for top male and female gun, top team and a prize for the lowest scoring team known as the bottom ducks! We will have competitions throughout the day.
To follow the shooting, there will be a drinks reception in the Long Room followed by a delicious three course lunch with beers and wines in the wonderful Wolf Room. Chris Mills will once again host our auction.
The cost of entry is £800 for a team of 4. Your non-shooting guests are most welcome to join us for lunch and entertainment at £75 per person.
