Brand new for 2013 – RideUK 24 offers two extraordinary cycle challenges. A testing 250 miles from Manchester to London in June, or an epic 300 miles from Newcastle to London in August – against the clock in under 24 hours! Setting off late morning, on through the day and night with hundreds of fellow cyclists – in pelotons with pace and support riders. There’s a full team of mechanics and medics on hand, with rest & recovery vehicles alongside you just in case – all supporting your heroic efforts as the clock ticks by and you speed on towards the finish line!
Each ride is broken down into stages, with rest stops every 40/45 miles to give you the chance to refuel with energy drinks and snacks – with two longer hot meal stops en route and a much deserved celebration brunch at the at the finish line in London.
Take part as an individual and you will be fully supported by our team – or join as a team and support each other as you ride. Once signed up to the challenge you will have access to training guides, kit & equipment lists, optional transport services and much more.
Few can say they have taken on a 24 hour road cycling challenge of this distance – with the right training, stamina and determination you can do it! Don’t miss out on your chance to do something special in 2013 – be part of Ride UK 24.
