Building on our regional fundraising successes, the Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships will develop our fundraising capacity in London and the South East. Reporting directly to the CEO and with a particular focus on major donors and corporate partnerships, the Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships will work closely with our supporters, including our Guardians and the London Development Group. The post holder will also develop a fundraising strategy for the region that builds on our existing relationships and secures new opportunities to maximise income.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising, with experience of securing gifts particularly from high net worth individuals and corporate sources. With strong interpersonal skills you will develop relationships easily and be able to both identify and cultivate new funding opportunities successfully. Representing Brainwave in London and the South East, you will be highly motivated and happy to work both without detailed management or a team environment on a daily basis. Most importantly you will be driven to support children with disabilities and additional needs to achieve greater independence.
